Angel Reese

Angel Reese is flying high with her team doing so incredibly well in the post-season and with her being named this year’s DPOY. I have always admired Reese for not just what she has been able to accomplish on the court, but for her essence and her spirit which has driven her to do incredible things off the court as well. Come on, the girl is like a movie star, with real basketball skills.

One thing that is quite easy to point out when it comes to Reese is just how much the baller has bloomed after she landed in Atlanta. The Dream Barbie is on a whole other level than Chi-Barbie to be honest, and the baller has was quite upfront about this in her latest presser.

“I knew who I was going to be coming into the league. Obviously, I didn’t have the opportunity to do that in the past two years. Being able to be here in Atlanta, just really grateful to have sisters in the locker room that genuinely care about me.” Angel Reese said.

Angel Reese entered the W with a sack full of talent, but unfortunately for her, the first two years did not go too well with the Sky. Reese even openly complained about the franchise and how the team is run, which indicates just how unhappy she was there.

Thankfully for Reese, the gods of basketball handed her over to Atlanta, which has been treasuring her since she stepped foot into the franchise. The team not only changed their roster to help Reese’s skills to shine, but also has celebrated her milestones, including putting on a special night on the release of her very own Barbie.

In turn, Reese has been killing it game after game, helping the Dream get their ticket to the semi-finals. Reese’s career is a superb example of how the right team can help a player’s career take off to whole new level. Teams and coaches need to embrace their players and help them live up to their fullest potential. In this case, kudos to the Atlanta Dream!

Not Every Player Might Be Blessed Like Angel Reese

Angel Reese was pretty fortunate to find her Dream team, literally and figuratively, after suffering for two straight seasons with the Sky. However, this is just one of those rare instances of a perfect marriage between a team and a player.

Angel Reese For Team USA

At this very moment, there are numerous other players who are incredibly unhappy with their respective teams and would give anything for a ticket out. Perhaps this may even be true in your life. For these players like this, I would simply suggest that you hold tight and pray the same prayer that Reese might have been praying her first two years she was with the Sky, i.e. “Lord, get me out here!”
